This indoor/outdoor area of a house wasn’t being used by the family. The braai smoked and the place looked rundown and uninviting.

We fixed the braai, repaired and painted walls and floor. We added stunning and comfortable furniture and now this area of the house is enjoyed all year long, adding a living space to the property.

This room was being misused as a “provisional” office, which resulted in a chaotic place that wouldn’t let the buyers appreciate the beautiful details of the room.

Moving the office to an outside cottage, we transformed the area into a spacious bedroom with a calmed atmosphere provided by the colour on the walls. Now the beautiful bay window is central stage.

“No room should be a spare room when selling your house”. This is exactly the case, a real waste given the potential.

We did have to change the fireplace for a working one, but after just borrowing a couple of pieces of furniture from other rooms in the house, some painting and decorative items, we turned this room into a stunning sitting room using the gorgeous period fire place as the focal point.

No broad market appeal on this out of date hall, carpet and wallpaper make the room appear heavy and dark.

Replacing the carpet and wallpaper for more contemporary options in soft and harmonious colours opened the space creating a welcoming and serene feeling.

clutter everywhere gives the impression of lack of storage. Busy wallpaper may be unappealing to certain viewers and makes the room feel smaller.

“Make what is already there work”. Inspired by the black tiles around the bath, black and white tiles flooring replaced old vinyl adding interest and transforming the bathroom completely. We then removed clutter and painted the walls.
